Walking by Faith
Published Date:
March 29, 2008 What does it mean to exercise faith? Is it praying about something and doing nothing until the answer comes? Is it foolishly walking through life with absolutely no answers?
I personally believe it is neither. The Bible commands us to "walk by faith, not by sight". That means there are times when you do not know what direction to go, but you go asking God to guide you as you walk. Ask Him to open the right doors for you to enter and close the doors He does not want you to go through. Are you willing to sincerely ask God to guide your steps and then go without any assurance that He will? That, my friend, is faith.
Proverbs 28:10
Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
