Can you explain the woman being hid in Revelation 12 and Israel's part in the tribulation?

The members of our church are in a dispute regarding songs being sung during the church service - older people like hymns while younger/middle aged people like choruses with drums, guitars, etc. Some of us traditional people wonder if we aren't letting the "world" dictate the style of worship we have. Does the Bible deal with this subject?

In Revelation chapter 9 we read about the loosing of four angels who have been bound in the Euphrates. Who are these angels? What is their purpose? Why were they bound in the Euphrates?

Groves are spoken against much in the King James Bible and are spoken of much by the New Age disciples. However, they are often ignored in the newer Bible versions. This article considers why.

In this chapter, God gives Zechariah two visions of warning. First, he sees a flying roll, which is identified as the curse. This pictures the law of God and the curse on those who disobey it. Second, he sees a woman sitting in a basket called an ephah (after the size of the basket). This vision is called wickedness and portrays false religion.

The Lord continues to describe the curses Israel will face if the nation turns from the Lord and from obeying His commandments. Unfortunately, Israel rebelled against the Lord and suffered through the troubles listed in this chapter.

Zechariah speaks of the cleansing and service of Joshua, the high priest at the time of the return from Babylonian captivity. He also points to the coming of the BRANCH and the redemption of the land of Israel.

This psalm assures the saints that, though the wicked exalt themselves against them, the Lord will be the final judge of all men. He will promote and He will cast down. We must look to Him and not to man.

After seventy years of judgment on Israel, God is ready to speak good and comfortable words to the nation. The horns that have scattered them will soon be cut off.
